How It Works
Assign each student a copy of the game slides (this can be done via Google Classroom)
Give students an answer recording sheet
Students play the slideshow and solve three digit addition and subtraction word problems on their papers
For each correct answer, they will earn a clue to help them unlock the answer to a Halloween joke
 
In this game, students are trick-or-treating through a haunted house. To escape the house, they must solve the answer to a Halloween joke.
 
Ten monsters throughout the house will present them with an addition or subtraction word problem. When students answer a problem correctly, they will earn a clue to solve the answer to the joke. After answering all the questions, they will have cracked the code and escaped the house!
 
Recording sheets may be collected and graded. When they are finished, students will have answered ten 3 digit addition and subtraction word problems.
